  • HOW DOES THE CLEANING AND LINEN CHANGE SERVICE WORK?
    The cleaning and linen change service in our student residence is designed to provide you with a clean and comfortable environment. Here's how it works: Weekly schedule: We have an established schedule for cleaning and changing sheets. This schedule will be communicated to you on arrival, so that you know when to expect the cleaning team in your accommodation. Access to accommodation: You do not need to be in your accommodation when the cleaning service arrives. You can go about your business in peace, as the cleaning team is trained to carry out their work independently. Refusal of service: In some cases, a resident may refuse to have the cleaning service come to their home for various reasons. However, we encourage our residents to accept regular cleaning service to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in shared accommodation. Warning and cleaning charges: In the event of repeated refusal of the cleaning service, we will issue a warning after the second consecutive refusal. If the refusal persists, a cleaning fee may be charged from the third refusal onwards. This is to ensure cleanliness standards are met and to maintain a pleasant environment for all residents. We encourage you to cooperate with our cleaning service to fully enjoy the benefits of a clean and well-maintained apartment. If you have any questions or concerns about the cleaning service, our team is always on hand to help and find suitable solutions.
  • WHAT ARE THE POLICIES REGARDING PETS IN YOUR STUDENT RESIDENCE?
    In our student residence, we have a strict pet policy. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our accommodations. This policy has been put in place to ensure the comfort and well-being of all our residents, while maintaining a clean and pleasant environment. We understand that pets may be important to some, but in order to respect the preferences and needs of all our residents, we have made the decision not to allow pets in our facilities. We thank you for your understanding and respect of this policy. Please note that any violation of this rule may result in the termination of your lease.
  • WHAT IS THE LEASE CANCELLATION POLICY?
    Our lease cancellation policy requires a registered letter signed by all leaseholders. This letter must reach us by the contractual deadline. We recommend that you respect the deadlines stipulated in your lease contract to facilitate the cancellation process and avoid any inconvenience. For further information on our specific lease cancellation policy, please refer to the terms and conditions detailed in your rental agreement or contact us directly.

What's more, we've developed a mobile application, MYOME, which makes daily life easier for residents and enable them to manage their services, book shared spaces and stay connected to the OMESTAY community.
  • WHAT FACILITIES AND COMMON AREAS ARE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS?
    At OMESTAY, we've created an ideal environment to meet all your needs and foster a rewarding student life experience. Here are just some of the facilities and common areas available to students: Multifunctional Lobby: Our lobby, located on the 3rd floor of the shopping center, is a multi-purpose space designed to offer you facilities and spaces conducive to conviviality, meeting and sharing. It's a central place where you can socialize with other residents. Coworking space: We've set up a coworking space where you can work, study and collaborate with other students. This space is equipped with desks, comfortable chairs and a high-speed Wi-Fi connection to facilitate your productivity. Meeting rooms: Meeting rooms are available and bookable via our MYOME mobile application. These rooms are fully equipped for group meetings, team studies or collaborative projects. Bar/Cafeteria: Take advantage of a bar/cafeteria area in our residence where you can relax, have a coffee, chat with other residents or simply spend some quality time with friends. Large shared kitchen: A fully equipped shared kitchen is open to the lobby. You can use it to prepare meals, share convivial moments and cook with other residents. Games area: A games area is available, including a pool table, table soccer and other entertainment for you to enjoy and socialize with other residents. Laundry room: We have a laundry room so you can wash and dry your clothes with ease, without having to leave the residence.     Yes, we have a connected laundry room in our student residence, accessible to all our residents. The laundry room is equipped with modern washing machines and dryers to meet your laundry needs. You can reserve washing machines and dryers via our mobile application. Charges apply for this service.
  • DOES YOUR STUDENT RESIDENCE OFFER SHARED ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS?
    At OMESTAY, we offer shared accommodation options for those who prefer to share their accommodation with other students. We have spacious shared apartments for 3 or 4 people. These apartments offer a comfortable communal space, including a shared kitchen, bathroom and living area, as well as individual rooms for each resident. Please note, however, that the number of apartments available is limited. We therefore encourage you to reserve your place as soon as possible if you are interested in this option. Accommodation sharing can be an excellent opportunity to bond, share experiences and enjoy a rewarding student experience in our residence.
  • WHAT TYPES OF ACCOMMODATION DO YOU OFFER IN YOUR STUDENT RESIDENCE?
    We offer a variety of accommodation options in our student residence to suit the needs and preferences of every student. Here are the types of accommodation we offer: Individual studios: These units offer a comfortable, fully-equipped private space, including a kitchenette, private bathroom, sleeping area and workspace. They are ideal for students who prefer to have their own personal space. 3 or 4 person shared apartments: For those looking for a more community living experience, we offer spacious shared apartments where you share the apartment with other students. Each apartment has individual bedrooms, a shared kitchen, two bathrooms and a communal living area. This is an excellent option for those who want to meet new people and share moments of conviviality, while retaining a certain degree of privacy. Whatever type of accommodation you choose, we make sure it's furnished to a high standard and has everything you need to feel at home. How do I apply for accommodation in your student residence? Simply make your reservation on the residence's website, depending on the accommodation available. We'll process your application as quickly as possible.

    High-speed Wi-Fi: A fast, reliable Internet connection is available in all units and common areas, so you can stay connected at all times. Public liability insurance: We provide you with public liability insurance to protect you from any accidents or damage you may have unintentionally caused. Weekly cleaning of accommodation: Our cleaning team ensures regular cleaning of your accommodation, providing you with a clean and comfortable environment. Weekly bed linen cleaning: We take care to change your bed linen every week to maintain optimum hygiene. Dedicated MYOME application: Thanks to our MYOME mobile application, you can easily manage your services, communicate with other residents, reserve common areas and stay informed of events and news from the residence Print Shop: Our Print Shop makes it easy for you to print your documents and benefit from photocopying services, without having to go outside. Fitness membership: You have access to a fitness membership at a nearby gym, keeping you fit and active.   • DO YOU OFFER ACTIVITIES OR EVENTS FOR RESIDENTS?
    Yes, we do! At OMESTAY, we attach great importance to creating a dynamic and supportive community. That's why we regularly organize a variety of activities and events for our residents. Our aim is to encourage encounters, exchanges and the development of a community spirit within our student residence.   • IS PARKING AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENTS?
    We do not offer dedicated parking spaces for OMESTAY residents. However, a large public parking lot is available in the basement of the residence. You can park your vehicle there using the spaces available. Please note that parking conditions and rates may be governed by the management of the public parking lot.
  • WHAT IS THE AVERAGE COST OF RENT IN YOUR STUDENT RESIDENCE?

  • ARE THE APARTMENTS FURNISHED? WHAT TYPES OF FURNITURE ARE INCLUDED?
    All our apartments are fully furnished and equipped to provide you with a practical and comfortable environment. Here are the types of furniture included in our apartments: Bed area: Each unit is equipped with a comfortable bed with a quality mattress to ensure a good night's sleep. Desk area: You'll find a functional workspace with a desk and chair, allowing you to concentrate on your studies and academic projects. Dining table: Each unit has a dining table where you can enjoy your meals in comfort. Bookcase: Our homes also include a bookcase or shelves where you can store your books and decorative items. Bathroom with shower and toilet: Each apartment has a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. Fully-equipped kitchen: You'll find a fully-equipped kitchen in each apartment, including appliances such as a fridge, stove, microwave oven and basic cooking utensils. This will enable you to prepare your meals in complete convenience. Shared apartments offer the added advantage of a large communal living room with TV area and large dining table. Here are just some of the transportation options available: Streetcar: Streetcar lines 14 and 18 provide direct access from the residence. These streetcar lines are convenient for getting to different destinations in the city quickly and easily. Bus: Bus line 28 also serves the area, offering you a convenient alternative for getting around. Bus stops are located close to the residence. Train lines: If you want to get anywhere from Vernier station, you can take the L5 and L6 train lines.
